Hey there — I’m Reginald Brewer, a Houston-based photographer with a deep love for capturing life as it really is. On this page, you’ll see a photo of my wife and son. They’re not just my heart — they’re my biggest inspiration, and my team behind the scenes. They help me with my photography business in more ways than I can count, and I’m grateful every single day.
Photography has been part of my life for years, but it was about ten years ago that I truly leaned into it. Since then, I’ve been chasing moments — real ones. I’m drawn to journalistic, candid photography because that’s where the magic is: in the in-between, the unscripted, the raw beauty of everyday life.
I’ve learned to work with all kinds of light — from golden-hour sunshine to studio strobes — and I’ve come to love the creative challenge that each shoot brings. Though I’m retired from education, I never stopped being a student. Photography keeps me curious, always growing, always reaching for something better.
At the heart of it, I just really love people — and their stories. Everyone has one, and it’s my joy to tell it through my lens. I believe there's no single “right” way to do this art. That’s the beauty of it. Each vision is unique, and that freedom is what keeps it exciting.
